Arm Pillows

Ethan and Ellie have been watching Toy Story 2 lately. ALOT. We watch it everyday. And if I am feeling like a lazy pregnant lady - sometimes twice. Anyway, they pick up some of the weirdest things from movie. Phrases, actions, and then they turn them into their own little games and put their own spin on them. Well in the movie Woody climbs up on Bullseyes back and says "Upsa Daisy" while Bullseye pushes Woody up on to Al's stomach to stead his broken arm back.

One day I was in cooking dinner and they were in the fron room playing this new game. Except this time Ellie only made it half way up onto the back of the couch and Ethan went to help her over by yanking on her arm to hoist her over to the other side. Apparently he yanked way too hard and the next thing I heard was bloody screaming from Ellie. I thought she was fine so we waited, she was still crying, we waited some more, she was still crying. So finally I took her to the night clinic. They took X-rays and couldn't see anything but she was still very upset and wouldn't let anyone touch her arm.
So the Dr. put this half cast on her arm and sent us home with an appointment the next day to see a dr. who knew a little bit more about these kinds of things. We went back the next day and the dr.'s diagnosis: She is FINE!! Just a big weenie and really good at getting what she wants.

This is what really made her feel better during her time of distress. I have no clue what they were watching but as long as she was sitting with her Papa Pow she was happy. She called her cast her "arm pillow" and actually cried when we took it off after the second dr. appointment
