Evan's Blessing Day

One Month

Evan is one month! Holy cow, he has actually grown. He was 6 lb. 15 oz. when he was born and at his two week appointment he weighed in at 6 lb. and 13oz. He is even bigger now. His knees aren't quite as wrinkely now.

Christmas Eve

I am still trying to play catch-up on all my posts so you will have to excuse the two last Christmas updates!

Here are my lovelies on Christmas Even in their sweet new pajamas and slippers. It was all extra fun this year because they both understood how things were going to happen with Santa and the presents.

Ethan, of course, had to show off his Toy Story slippers.

We left cookies out for Santa on our fireplace. When Ethan woke up in the morning he ran out there and saw the empty plate. The first thing he did was turn and look at me and say, "Hey! Who ate the cookies!!". So I asked him, "Well, who do you think!?". His reply: "Daddy!". We had to explain that Santa was the one who ate the cookies. It was funny.

I found this kitchen for $6 and cleaned it up and added the vinyl. I think it turned out pretty darn good!

Ethan's spread.

This train was a huge hit too. We had this to go around our tree and both kids thought that was the coolest thing they had ever seen.

Ethan's Workout

Jacob has been running on our treadmill at night and doing sit-ups, push-ups and just general stretches. Ethan feels as though this is "boy time" and must do everything Jacob does. Now, just to note, Jacob does not do any of this in his underwear like Ethan feels the need to. Jacob wears shorts!! But since Ethan was just wearing his underpants (Toy Story onces, of course) and a t-shirt, the shirt came off and this was the result!

Sit-ups are really hard when you are only four years old!

Push-ups are even harder. Especiall when it comes to keeping that cute little tush down.

And of course, touching your toes is easy when you have this wonderful posture going on!

And then he had to run on the treadmill too. Jacob stood by him and pushed all the buttons for him. He was going "super fast"! I think it was like 2 maybe 2 1/2 miles per hour. He had quite the workout.

and then these legs went straight to bed

because they were all tuckered out from their intense workout.

BOOTS!!

My Grandma and Papa Barrow (or Grandma and Papa Pow, as the kids call them) were here for a few weeks around Christmas time. They absolutely and totally spoiled my kids. Toys, attention, treats, and these boots.

These were by far the best thing they have gotten. As I mentioned in a previous post, they are really into Toy Story. So Ethan was thrilled to have Woody boots and Ellie to have Jesse boots.

It just so happened that the next day at Ethan's preschool was his pajama party and his turn for show and tell. So he wore his Woody pajamas, his cowboy boots and took the remote control car they bought him for show and tell. He said he had the "BESTEST outfit" of all the kids.
