Just a few days after my last post Ethan came down with strep throat. And as if that wasn't enough - we took Ellie to Primary Childrens that same night. We spent nearly five days there. After many sleepless nights and even more tests they diagnosed a severe case of acid reflux and an illius. An illius is when for some reason your intestines become inflamed and sore. So as a natural defense they shut down and stop functioning. As a result anything you eat just pools in your stomach. Once you add in the fact that she has reflux it was very painful. Her milk would sit in her poor little tummy and "frement" untill she threw up - very painful for a little one.
It took nearly two weeks to get her days and nights put back together. We are all doing much better and almost as important sleeping much better too!
A few days ago Jacob and I put an offer in on a home in Kaysville. It's a short sale so we have no idea how long it could take to get an answer and even if they will accept our offer. It could take months. The problem was that we were still under contract at our apartment here. I put an ad in ksl for someone to take over our lease. I really didn't think anyone would. A few days later a woman called, she walked through the next day, and immediately signed a contract and put a deposit down. That was Saturday. We have to be gone by next Wednesday!! Yea - that's a week and a half to pack and move.
So now we are homeless. Almost.
Enter mom and dad.
As much as we (and I mean me and my parents) are not excited about this it's going to save us a ton of money and let us put offers in on other homes as well.
Wish us luck ok finding a home!
